Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is a famous American performer, actress as well as a former model. She was the lead female vocalist in Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. Apollonia was a performer/singer born to Prince in 1984, became one of the many female artists of the 1980s who benefitted from Prince. Kotero ended her relationship with Prince following a disagreement throughout their careers. Apollonia 6 broke up after their fallout. She then appeared in a handful of minor movies in the late 1980s (reportedly refusing an offer to star in the follow-up to Purple Rain Under the Cherry Moon) prior to settling for acting in a role at night for the film Falcon Crest in 1985-1986. Apollonia began her professional debut in 1988. However, the album of R&B/dance that was pretty pedestrian and didn't make a big impression with people who were buying music at that period, was quickly wiped out. In the years that followed the singer-songwriter remained an active actress with minor film roles and a few TV series. In 1997, Apollonia released a Spanish/English album entitled Stay with me. Then, she went back to the college where she earned an education in filmmaking. She also formed her own production firm. Apollonia, Kotero is known for wearing many hats. She was a former actor, singer and model. She was in 1984 when she was credited for her performance on the show Purple Rain.
